We are always on the hunt for the official Neopets ID of each item released in Neopia. Read on to find out how you can help send in that information.

How to Help

  • Check out the list of items we still need item IDs for below.
  • Look through your account to see if you have any items on the list.
  • Follow the instructions in the "How Can I Find the Neopets ID?" section below to find the ID.
  • Let us know so we can update!

How Can I Find the Neopets ID?

The ID can be found in a few places:

SDB

In Your Safety Deposit Box

Find the item in your Safety Deposit Box either by searching by name or navigating to the correct page.

Hover over the "Remove One" link, and look for the URL to show at the bottom of your browser. The ID number will be the second number listed in the URL. An example is highlighted below:

All IDs for newer items are usually 5 digits long. If you find something longer than that, that is probably not the ID.

Your Closet

In Your Closet

Find the item in your Closet either by searching by name or navigating to the correct page.

View the Page Source of the page containing your item. (Usually by right clicking and selecting "View Page Source".) You should see a bunch of HTML.

Search for the item's name. Four lines after the item's name, you should find code similar to the example below. The item's ID is highlighted.

All IDs for newer items are usually 5 digits long. If you find something longer than that, that is probably not the ID.

Your Gallery

In Your Gallery

Visit the Quick Remove page in your gallery.

View the Page Source of the page containing your item. (Usually by right clicking and selecting "View Page Source".) You should see a bunch of HTML.

Search for the item's name. Shortly after the item's name, you should see remove_qty_arr[.....] with a number inside of the brackets, which is the item's ID. An example is highlighted below:

Your Shop

In Your Shop

Visit your shop's inventory and navigate to the page where the item appears.

View the Page Source of the page containing your item. (Usually by right clicking and selecting "View Page Source".) You should see a bunch of HTML.

Search for the item's name. Shortly after the item's name, you should see back_to_inv[.....] with a number inside of the brackets, which is the item's ID. An example is highlighted below:

Shop Wiz

On the Shop Wizard

Use either the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard to find the item for sale in a user's shop. Click the link to visit the seller's shop.

In your URL bar, look for a section starting with &buy_obj_info_id=..... and ending with a numeric value, which is the item's ID. An example is highlighted below.

User Shops

In Other Users' Shops

Find the item for sale in the user's shop.

Hover over the item as if you were going to purchase it, and look for the URL at the bottom of your browser. In the URL, find &obj_info_id=..... which contains the item's ID. An example is highlighted below:
